Hi! I’m Jacqui
Candidate for Amesbury School Committee, 2025
My husband Bart and I have proudly called Amesbury home since 2013, where we’re raising our two children—Matthew (3rd grade) and Josie (1st grade)—both proud students in Amesbury Public Schools.
From the moment my son started kindergarten, I’ve been deeply involved in our school community—as a classroom and building volunteer, longtime PTO member (currently serving as Secretary), and most recently, a substitute teacher in our elementary schools. These roles have given me a firsthand look into what makes our schools special—and where we have room to grow.
With over 15 years of experience in education, including a background in early childhood and Montessori teaching, I bring both professional knowledge and a parent’s perspective to the table. I’ve attended countless School Committee meetings over the years, both in-person and online, staying informed and engaged in the decisions shaping our district.
Outside the classroom, my family and I are active in the Amesbury community. We love attending local events, supporting small businesses, and spending sunny days downtown—especially enjoying Flatbread at the Mill Yard with friends. This year, we’re excited to host a high school exchange student from France and share everything we love about our town.
Now, I’m running for School Committee because I believe in our schools—and their potential. My guiding principle is simple: keep students at the center of every decision.
