My Priorities

If elected to the Amesbury School Committee, I will be a dedicated advocate for students, families, and educators. My work will focus on the following core priorities:

📚 Fully Funding Our Schools
Every student deserves access to a high-quality education—regardless of background or zip code. To achieve this, we must ensure our schools are fully funded and our budgets reflect the actual needs of our students and staff. This includes:

  • Advocating for fair and sustainable state and local funding

  • Prioritizing resources for classroom instruction, special education, mental health, and extracurricular programming

  • Supporting teacher recruitment and retention through competitive salaries and professional development

  • Planning long-term for infrastructure, technology, and safety improvements

Fully funded schools are the foundation of a thriving community—and I will fight to make sure Amesbury schools have what they need to succeed.

💬 Improving Communication & Transparency
Families and staff deserve clear, consistent, and honest communication from school leadership. I believe building trust starts with open dialogue and community engagement. I will work to:

  • Ensure information from the School Committee is accessible, timely, and easy to understand

  • Create more opportunities for parents, caregivers, and community members to ask questions, share concerns, and offer input by pledging to hold regular IN- SCHOOL and IN-COMMUNITY OFFICE HOURS

  • Promote transparency in decision-making, budgeting, and policy development

  • Strengthen collaboration between the Committee, school administration, and educators

When families feel informed and included, our entire school system becomes stronger.

❤️ Supporting Our Most Vulnerable Students
All students deserve to feel safe, supported, and valued in their schools. I am especially committed to advocating for those who face systemic barriers—whether academic, social, emotional, or financial. My focus will include:

  • Expanding support services for students with special needs, English language learners, and those facing trauma or housing insecurity

  • Promoting policies and programs that foster equity, inclusion, and belonging

  • Supporting social-emotional learning and accessible mental health resources

  • Ensuring schools are equipped to meet diverse learning styles and backgrounds

When we support our most vulnerable students, we uplift our entire community.

These aren’t just campaign promises—they reflect what I’ve seen and experienced firsthand as an educator, a parent, and a committed member of our school community. I’m ready to work hard, listen closely, and lead with compassion.

Let’s build a school system we can all be proud of—together.

Lets Collaborate.

Community Starts with Connection
